Wolf said 25 National Guard members six Fish and Boat Commission rescue technicians, two Black Hawks and two Chinook helicopters left from Fort Indianatown Gap and Johnstown and are en route to McEntire Joint National Guard Base near Columbia, South Carolina. "While we continue to help those in Pennsylvania affected by recent flooding we also are thinking of our fellow citizens in North and South Carolina as they prepare for Hurricane Florence. I want everyone to know that Pennsylvania is with them, wishing safe passage through this storm," said Wolf. The National Guard members heading to South Carolina will assist staff in the Carolinas who are preposition assets and supplies to be used in the relief efforts. The Fish and Boat Commission rescue technicians will be on-hand to aid in rescue efforts. Hurricane Florence is currently a Category 2 just off the Carolia coast.
