Residents in Centre County held a rally in downtown State College Sunday afternoon. The rally was held in protest of President Trump's actions against Syria. We have more on their concerns. Concerns are what people have here in Centre County. After talking to some of the protesters, they say America's focus and money should be elsewhere instead of getting involved in a problem that is not ours. On Allen Street in downtown State College, a dozen protesters rallied together. During the rally, protesters gave a moment of silence to victims from recent war and airstrikes. At one point, one resident pulled over, asking questions and protesters created conversation with him. Participant say there is one big picture here, to mobilize the antiwar movement. I think this is just the beginning. Organizer say if anyone else wants to participate, they still can. The protesters are forming a new group called Centre County Antiwar Network.
