A Penn State official has confirmed that a student was found dead in a residence hall Monday night. According to the university, 19 year old William Denton was found dead in his door room in Miller Hall by Penn State police. Police were called to the room to perform a welfare check that was requested by Denton's parents. A police report reveled the incident did involve possession of an unknown drug. However, the coroner said it could be several weeks before toxicology reports are finished. Denton was a sophomore and was studying health policy administration.
