The Fullington Auto Bus Company is once again 100 percent family owned. Michael and Lory Fullington announced Thursday that they had re purchased all outstanding shares previously owned by parent company RATP Dev, which is located in Paris, France. "We're excited to begin the new year, a rebirth of sorts, with total ownership and control of the company." The Fullington Auto Bus Company has been serving Central Pennsylvania since 1908 and was started by Emerson M. Fullington and his three sons. "That's my family's name on the sides of those buses. I feel a personal responsibility for making sure we honor that legacy in everything we do as a company." RAPT Dev and Fullington reached an agreement in 2009 that allowed RAPT to enter the U.S. market. Negotiations to re purchase the company began in early 2017 and concluded in December.
