Another Penn State Fraternity has been suspended for at least two years on multiple violations that occurred earlier this month. It comes weeks after the University's President sent a warning letter to Greek Life organizations. According to the Vice President for Student Affairs, Sigma Alpha Mu knowingly violated all the rules imposed after the death of Piazza. The letter stated the Greek Life community needed to change and if they did not it could be the end of fraternities and sororities at the College. But a week after the rules were laid out the fraternity had a party during parents weekend. During the party a letter of release said that violations made by the house included excessive drinking with no server, open access alcohol with no monitoring and permitting guests other than frat members, their parents and family to attend.
