Penndot drivers spend much of the day on the roads working 12 hour shifts to keep up with the snow as it continues to fall. Truck drivers had a tough time at traffic lights, busy intersections and pedestrians all created potential issues for those working to clear the streets. One driver says working in a city rather than in the open, restricts how fast they can get the job done. "5, 10 Miles per hour so I don't hit anybody or injure anyone." Officials remind drivers to stay 100 feet back from the trucks and that the restrictions are there for a reason.
