The fight to save the State Prison in Cresson marched on to Harrisburg Tuesday morning.   Officials from the township spoke before a State Senate Judiciary Committee.  They argued the closure will among other things have dire impacts on the local economy.  The main point today to State Leaders "slow down" they say the closure does not have to happen so fast.  Cresson Township officials addressed Senate Judiciary Committee in Harrisburg on Tuesday over the Department of Corrections decision to close SCI Cresson.
