The study into whether or not an Amtrak stop in Rockwood is finished and the final report finds putting a station in Somerset County would have a positive impact on the region.  It cites increased revenue due to visitors, increased property values and improved mobility for those living in the area.  The report also looked at environmental factors and found limited negative impacts.
